Classic pieces, meticulously handcrafted using ethical and sustainable practices. Unique treasures that will last year after year.

Wesewseeds started years ago when I found myself disappointed in the clothing available for myself and my oldest child. After learning the practices of many major companies, I realized how little I knew about manufactured products. After only a small amount of research into child labor and the chemical processes involved in major manufacturing, I knew I wanted something different for myself, my family and the families who are stuck in a web of slavery. With that I was able to combined my passion for fashion with ethical, and sustainable practices by creating Wesewseeds. Each piece from wesewseeds is made from ethically sourced matierials. Our fabrics are high quality European linen and cotton. Linen is a wonderful fabric because it does not require the heavy pesticides that some other natural fibers require during the growing process. It is warm in the winter and cool in the summer and everyday soft to the touch. My intention with each piece is longevity and versatility. Every garment is finished with French seams. This means the seams are strong and will never fray. My goal is that they will last for 50 years (although this goal 'has not been tested). I’ve chosen timeless, classic patterns, created by myself or other Women from around the world. Pattern designers include, The Dutch Pattern Farm, North Patterns, Mingo and Grace, ShakaLaka Patterns, Puperita, and MadebyJacksMum. Supporting sustainability and ethical practices is very important to me. I strive to use secondhand and recycled materials as often as possible when it comes to buttons, notions, packaging and shipping. This little adventure has brought me closer to the earth and humanity. Although I’m still a student of the trade, the “forever learning” path is where I want to be. our shop story...
